Holiday guests of the "Pearl of the Alps" Saas-Fee have the great privilege to be allowed to spend their holidays in an unspoilt nature. That next generations can enjoy these beauties of nature as well, we take the environment and the environmental protection especially to the heart.
In summer 2006 the "Alpenfirn" was awarded with the European Eco-label for accomodation service as the first holiday flat house in Switzerland !
The “European Flower” for accomodation service means:
- that the energy consumption is restricted
- that the tap water consumption is limited
- that a smaller amount of refuse is produced
- a preference for using renewable energy sources and less polluting substances
- promotion of environment enrichment and environment comunication
